I always seem to come in on 17 comments...I hate to break that number to 18. This may be a day late and a dollar short, but I agree with Kim..."Collection of Recollections" I think is better than singular. Don't worry about the rhyme being exact if it rolls off the tongue. And, check the defs.
After reading comments, I agree with the need to define "The Great Awakening" so as to not confuse it with the previous ones.
I too vote for "collection of testimonies." Collection of recollection does have a nice creative and poetic ring to it, in and of itself, but it seems out of place in context of what else is written.
Can't wait to see the cover art! (If the person is a professional artist, I have a guess who it might be; otherwise, not a clue.)
I like "collection of recollection". I makes me feel that this is not a scholarly book or religious book, but rather an intimate view from those who were on the ground at the time of THIS Great Awakening.
BUT! Talking about The Great Awakening, I think it is very important to define the era this is referring to. As you will see, there is already a VERY established definition of The Great Awakening. This book picks up from where that one left off.

DescriptionThe Great Awakening was a series of religious revivals in American Christian history. Historians and theologians identify three, or sometimes four, waves of increased religious enthusiasm between the early 18th century and the late 20th century. Wikipedia
I like the layout of the back cover and the content. I agree with Kim that “collection of recollection” sounds clunky. I’m no wordsmith but maybe “collection of personal testimonies” or”collection of eye witness accounts”. Looking forward to reading it!

It’s perfect!!! Cant wait to see the front cover with a back cover like that I can only imagine. So excited for you Swampy.
Great back cover art! If that's the back cover I can imagine the front cover will really be spectacular!!

What a fitting story for the front cover. I have a couple of guesses of who it could be.
I have a suggestion for the back cover, which looks great.
Under WARNING instead of collection of recollection, maybe collection of testimonies. Or make recollection plural.
